Solid Lime Green & Solid Hot Pink Tutus!

These 2 tutus are for 2 little girls. I matched the bows on them so that it is coordinating. Both tutus are made from a shimmery tulle rather than a flat color tulle. I made matching bows for the girls to wear in ribbon that matched their tutu. I love seeing tutus on babies!

Tutus now for sale!

So, I started making tutus just for my girls & others having b-days but I just got in a 5 tutu order so I think this is officially putting me in the tutu business! I am selling them for $15 which I *think* is fairly reasonable. This is for a plain ol' tutu up to 2 colors. From that point on, $2 will be added for the 3rd color & then $1 for additional colors. The pricing goes...

Donated Hair Bows

As promised, I took a picture of the 6 hair bows on aligator clips that I made for the same fundraising event as the Lovely Yellow Diaper cake. I think I like them all, LOL! Be on the lookout b/c I will be making another couple of bows to give away in the very near future, like later this week!


I wanted to throw in a picture of what the cake looks like wrapped in the shrink wrap. I think that this is the way I will be shipping the cakes b/c I can get it tight enough around the whole cake that nothing will move! The only thing is that the customer is going to have to poof out the bow on the top of the cake but that is minor!


Also, shipping should only cost about $10-15. That wouldn't be too bad to get it across the country!

Lovely Yellow ~ Donating the cake!

Helene, a friend from an online community I am part of, Triplet Connection, emailed me to see if I would be interested in donating a cake to her children's preschool for their big fundraiser. I figure it is a good opportunity to help another triplet mommy out & to also give the school, Agudas Achim Preschool, a nice item for their auction. Along w/ the cake, I am making some bow clips. This is the 1st of 2 cakes I am donating for a cause. I'm so excited!

So, here is the cake that I have created for Agudas Achim Preschool's fundraiser. We went neutral colors for obvious reasons.

Top tier: I did something a little different this time & actually used some hot glue to put the yellow "jewels" (or what ever they are technically called, LOL) on the ribbon.

I will be posting pictures of the ribbons as well in the next day or 2. The other good thing about this opportunity is that I have to ship the cake & will have the opportunity to see how it goes. If it arrives in 1 piece, I will begin to offer shipping on my cakes! I'm excited!

Ohio State University Cake

The mommy that received the Texas A&M cake liked it so much that she requested a cake be done in the same fashion but w/ Ohio State gear. These collegiate cakes are really fun to do! I really think that these cakes are a great way to show your university pride.
