Project Charlie Single Auction Piece ~ Ruffle Halloween Circle Skirt

I've decided that Fridays we will put up a piece auction style

to help raise money for Project Charlie.

Anything above retail will go directly to purchase gift cards

for the employees of BARC Animal Shelter.

This week, we are putting up TWO awesome Halloween circle skirts!

The first is the ruffle circle skirt.

It is the first time to combine knit fabric with ruffle fabric.

Andrea and I absolutely ADORE IT!

The second is one I know my Gabi would LOVE.

I think it is the sweetest!

This skirt will fit either as a LONG 3/4, a regular 5/6
or a regular 7/8 thus the reason there is no waist band.

Once the auction is closed, the high bidder will let me know what size.

Before and After

I know it is sometimes hard for our customers to envision a creation.

We had our Halloween/Fall upload last week and

I wanted to show you some before and afters.

This super cute Trick or Treat fabric has been in my stash for 2 years.

Lisa purchased it during the upload.

{we love Lisa...she is one of our best customers}

It turned in to this super cute outfit.

Our basic Susi skirt was trimmed with rick rack.

And then we have our classic bib shirt but rather than

ruching this time, I put matching rick rack around the bib.

Candace snagged this precious Riley Blake Halloween design.

This print is so colorful in person!

And from that, came this precious Halloween outfit.

We have an Ava Mega Twirly skirt paired with our bib shirt,

and again, I got hold of some rick rack to add a little something special!

In another upload, this stunning fabric by Jennifer Paganelli was purchased.

This eye catching fabric turned in to a beautiful skirt set.

Our basic Susi was trimmed with another fabric and the classic bib shirt.

I know that Andrea will have more photos of other styles.

I can't wait to get my hands on those so we can do another before/after post.

Halloween/Fall Upload 2012

We are currently in the midst of the Halloween/Fall Upload.

{SIG} Halloween Mini Collection 2012

Many of you know I love photography.

Probably as much as I like to sew.

It is much more a hobby for me than anything.

And honestly, I really like it that way.

I am no where near as good as our favorite photog Candace.

{check out her goodies HERE}

But, I can get the job done to feature our clothing.

It helps that Andrea also has a good eye for photography.

Combined, we aren't too shabby.

With that said, we took it upon ourselves to photograph

the {SIG} Halloween Mini Collection.

We are very pleased with how it came out.

And our items are now on preorder.

They will be LIMITED EDITION only.

That means I am purchasing only so much fabric

so when it is gone, it is gone.

We also have a range of pricing.

This means you can get some goodies without breaking the bank.

We had some adorable models!

They did a fabulous job.

No crying at all and cooperative.

The rain even stopped and the sky cleared up.

Miss Abbigayle modeled the {SIG} exclusive
Lizzie Peasant dress with knee high tutu leg warmers.
We used Riley Blake Costumer Clubhouse Collection.

The Lizzie Peasant dress features a 3/4 sleeve with ties,
a beautiful ruffle at the bottom and a sash for the waist.


Miss Abbigayle and Miss Juliet were absolutely precious together.
Juliet could not get enough of Abbigayle!
All she wanted to do was hold her hand.

Miss Juliet modeled our famous mega ruffle pants and bib shirt!

The ruffles on here are amazingly full.

And the ruching around the top of the ruffle adds dimension.

Then we have handsome Mr. Andrew.

He was such a pleasure to work with!

He modeled our {SIG} exclusive flat front country club pants,

and a hand painted shirt (boy that was fun).

These three took direction so well!

I had a blast making this Halloween banner from the

Riley Blake Collection.

Coming up with all the embellishments really

allowed for creative juices to flow.
