The Bachelorette ~ The Final Rose

I called it!
My prediction was correct.
She is a good girl.
And she picked the man that is perfect for Ricki and her.

But before I talk about Jef and Emily,
let's talk about what happened.

I really didn't know what to expect this show.
After all, it seemed as though Emily was totally head over heals
in love with Arie as well, do you agree?

But I had a feeling when she went on the date with Jef
and let him meet Ricki, that the gig was probably up.
It seemed a bit awkward at first but I think
Ricki ended up liking him a lot.

Of course, it helps that Jef is a kid a heart!
And I love how he let her push him off the bridge.
Pink goggles and all.

Priceless.

What is even more impressive,
Emily couldn't go on the date with Arie.
She couldn't bring herself to "fake" happiness when she knew
her heart was with Jef 100%.

And I'm sorry but that takes KAHUNAS.
I admire her.
Completely.

But poor, poor Arie.
If he needs a shoulder to cry on, he can come to me.
Oh...does anyone think he is the next Bachelor?

Sure would be a good show!
I'd watch it fo sho.

I think Arie will find happiness.
Gotta say I am glad he didn't do The Bachelor Pad.
{psssst...don't tell me anything, gotta watch it today}

With all that said,
guess this is my last post about the awesome Emily.

Congrats to the happy couple!

I hope to see your wedding on tv.
Seriously.
Would LOVE to see how beautiful it will be.
These 2 are definitely in love.

Bachelorette ~ The Final TWO!

Gotta say, I am proud of that girl.
She stuck by her principles and didn't do any overnights.
I was worried that she wouldn't.
And after all her talk about being a good girl,
she actually is which is a breath of fresh air.

I am actually even more impressed with Jef.
Cuz he turned her down.
Well, you know what I mean.
He wanted to respect her so he told her before she could tell him.
Good boy!

As for Arie, she was smart.
They do have quite the physical connection.
Rather than play with fire, she left it alone not even offering him the card.
Wow.

Then there was Sean.
I've never understood the connection.
I know he is "perfect" but sometimes that isn't good enough.
Their relationship pales in comparison to Jef and Arie.

Honestly, I thought she was going to take good ol' Sean to the end.
Well, not the end end but to the final 2.
He just seemed to be a "safe" choice.

I was HOPING for an Arie/Jef final 2.
I just didn't know if she would really follow her heart.
She has one hell of a decision between those 2 boys.

I mean, look at the chemistry between her and Arie.
It is undeniable.
Does she follow that intense attraction?

Or does she go for Jef?
Ya know, I have a thing for him.
He is just so absolutely cute and sweet and a little wild.
Just enough.
And I have said it before.
I like how he played hard to get at the beginning.
That was a good move.

Oh Sean.
I'm so sorry you put your heart on the line.
And I know that Emily didn't make it easy.
Because looking at your last date, it seemed like she was totally in to you.

But alas, your time has ended.
I don't think you will be single for long.
I'm sure the girls are lining up!

Now...my prediction.
This is a hard one.
Both boys are amazing.
They are very different.
Emily is going to have a tough choice.
But my bet is on Jef.

He just seems to be a better fit all the way around.
And Emily is looking for that.

I would love to see Arie at the end but I just don't think Emily
will take that chance...kind of what she had with Brad.
Mad chemistry.

Arie...I'll take you in a heartbeat.
oops, don't tell my hubs that, hehe

Can't wait for next week.
Is Ryan for real???
I wanna see what he has to say.

That's it!
If you got through all this,
don't forget to enter to win the Millie Tote!
You may enter through midnight tonight!

The Bachelorette Recap Week 7

Oh, have you ever had one of those weeks?
You know the kind that NOTHING goes right?
Yep, it is one of those weeks for me.

One thing you will learn about me as you get to know me,
I am NOT a complainer.
I normally suck it up and keep on truckin'.

That's the way I was raised.
Nothing gets in my way.
Well...except for 3 4-year-olds constantly demanding
my attention and needing constant activities.

Geez, I could really write a whole different post about that.

There are always highlights to my week.
As you know, I am a Bachelorette junkie.
Reality tv junkie.
{totally looking forward to the new Big Brother starting on July 12th}

Bachelorette...Emily...ah, it is starting to really get interesting.
After all, she is now down to the Final Four.
The ones she is going to meet their families.

Should have been 3 in my opinion.
Let's get to it...

Emily took the boys to Prague this week.
What a gorgeous place!
I would like to visit for sure.

And I love that her dates aren't really all jazzed up.
She really likes to play the "tourist" role.

Emily's one on ones were John, Arie, and Jef.
Needless to say, the chemistry was flying between the latter two.

I was glad to see that Arie and Emily worked out the issue
and we get to see another week of him, meeting his family as well.

Then there is the sweet Jef.
Could he not be any cuter?
Seriously...even a little sexy.
And the whole marionette scene was my favorite of the night.

GOOOO JEF!
He may very well have slid in to first place in my heart!

Then we have John.
Can you say, "No sparks"?
Because that is what it is...there are no sparks flying between him and Emily.

Thankfully Emily axed him at the rose ceremony.

That leaves the group date.
Chris, Sean, and Doug.
And what a date that turned out to be.
Ended up being one of those 2 on 1's that Emily loves so much.

Oh sweet Doug.
Mr. Good Guy.
Mr. Old Fashion Values.
Mr. I-didn't-kiss-her-until-it-was-much-too-late.

And so you were told goodbye before the end of the date was over.
So sad...really.
I feel for him.
He really is just one of those genuine nice guys.
that finishes last, oops

Then we have Mr. Problem Child.
What in the world is Chris' problem?
And doesn't this face say it all?

Let's see.
You signed up for a show where you would share the girl.
What part of that don't you get?
That means less time with her.
That means you need to pull an Arie or a Sean and go look for her.

This does not mean whine and be icky to other people.
And honestly, I don't think you should have gotten a hometown date.
I think Miss Emily should have stuck with the 3 big guns.

Which leads me to my prediction.
I think Chris is next.
Do you?

Guess we will have to wait until next Monday.
{or in my case, Tuesday, since I rarely get to watch anything prime time}

Happy Wednesday Peeps!

PS ~ Who watched Craft Wars?
Did you like it?

PPS ~ My computer has decided to be temperamental.
If you don't hear from me, you know why.
