MadBel Creations Giveaway

Ah, this should have been up yesterday.
But alas, life with triplets happened.
Here it is today instead.

Megan from MadBel Creations contacted me about doing this giveaway.
And I have to say these are the cutest bags!
If you have a daughter in dance, this would be perfect for under the tree.

Totally cute tutu bags that is.
And personalized at that.
One lucky reader/follower will win one.

Isn't that great?!?

Here is a little something about Megan.

I am a stay at home mom with 3 kiddos.
2 girls and a boy.
They keep me plenty busy most days
but I try and sneak in something crafty each day.
I love making stuff then sending it off to its new home.
My hubs is super supportive and lends a hand from time to time with orders.
My grandma taught me to see back in high school.
But my love of sewing took off when I made my oldest daughter a dress.
I realized there were so many options out there!
I love trying to recreate something I have seen
or figuring out how to make dress my daughter dreams up.
Being able to create something that is different and functional makes my day!

Tell me this wouldn't be cute for any princess?

Here are the deets for the contest.
You will have until Sunday, December18th at midnight CST to enter.
Hopefully it will ship out before Christmas!

Christmas Crunch

When I have time what is time and how do you get more,
I like to read blogs.
I also love Pinterest.

I found this wonderful, quick Christmas Crunch recipe at MADE.
I was in a pinch to make the kids' teachers and staff something for today's party.
This fit the bill perfectly.

Let's be honest.
Having triplets doesn't afford me much time for anything.
I can't craft much because it gets destroyed.
This is the tough part about their current age.

When I read the blog post for Christmas Crunch,
it was right up my ally.
And very quick to make.
15 minutes, tops!

This is what you need
1) Bag of pretzels (your choice of stick or regular)
2) Almond Bark (I used about 2/3 of the package)
3) M&Ms or any other candy choice
4) Wax Paper and cookie sheet
4) Cups or plastic bags (I purchased those cute cups at Walmart)

Let's get started!

1) Break up your bark and put in to a bowl.
2) Pop it in the microwave for about a minute.
Take out and stir, place back in for another minute.
(you may need to go a bit longer)
3) Stir together your pretzels and candy.

4) Pour melted bark in to pretzel and candy mix.

5) After it is good and mixed, place it on the cookie sheet w/ wax paper.
6) Place in fridge for about 30-45 minutes.

7) Once the mixture hardens, you can break up in to pieces.
8) And you are finished!

BUT, I want to go ahead & show you some more.
I found these cute printable tags at Heart Handmade UK.
Totally FREE.

Printed out those babies.
Got some curling ribbon.

Used some plastic self seal baggies to stuff the Christmas Crunch in.
And loaded up the cups.
Then I used some curling ribbon to tie on the gift tag.

Couldn't get any cuter.
Or easier.
And hey, for the price, ya just can't beat it.

Gotta also say that the teachers and staff LOVED receiving them this morning.
SCORE!

Now, go make yourself some.
Or make it a project with the kids.
Put it out for your Christmas party.

Enjoy!

Whisper Blossom Giveaway

Hair pretties.
Everyone loves them.
And good ones are hard to come by.

Sarah contacted me when I announced the Extravaganza and when I checked out her
Whisper Blossom Etsy store, I knew she was perfect for the giveaway!

Her hair pretties are fabulous!
Andrea and I were "ooh'ing" and "aaah'ing" over them as we opened the package.

She has great taste in fabric choices.
From funky to vintage to classy.
She also makes beautiful custom pieces.

Yeah, that means perfect props for photogs out there.

Check out these 2 pretties I took from her Etsy store.

I absolutely love the felt flowers!
I would totally wear them in my hair.

And the above piece is gorgeous to put on a newborn.
Don't you think?

But, let me tempt you with these FIVE fabric blossoms.

Aren't they adorable!?!
And they are all going to ONE lucky winner.

But before I give you the deets, let's get to know Sarah a bit better.

"Hi!  My name is Sarah and I have a shop called Whisper Blossom on Etsy.  I am a (now) stay at home mom of 5 kiddo's 10 and under (4 of which are girls) and wife to a wonderful man for almost 9 years.  I did work part time as a cosmetologist up until January of this year when we figured out our youngest (then 3 mos) had some major medical issues that meant I needed to stay home full time.  I've had my Etsy shop open for almost 2 years, I opened it to help out with our income as well as share what I make with others.  At first it was just blossoms and such, but after a bit my son asked about bowties and super capes, so the shop has expanded, ha ha.  I routinely make magnet sets, capes, bowties, blossoms, knit hats and scarves, pins, pajama pants and other miscellaneous childrens and womens items to put in my shop.   I am messing around with some ideas for pillow covers with my blossoms on them as well, but haven't perfected it yet.  I also do quite a few custom orders....basically if you see something you like but need a different size or color/print, or you have a different idea altogether I'm always game for trying new things!  It's always a little crazy at our house with all the munchkins running around, but I wouldn't trade my life for anything, I love being a mom and finding ways to be creative and such with my kiddo's and in the moments of quiet I have for myself."

Dying to know the deets?
Here they are peeps.
You have through Friday, December 9th at midnight CST to enter.
